The Old Courtyard Hotel

Jacob and Rose first met in the Swiss Alps at pre-eminent hotelier school, Les Roches. After a first successful restaurant in the late 1990's, they happened upon the ruins of a mansion that belonged to a prominent Jewish family in the area, The Koders. The house that would eventually become The Old Courtyard, belonged to Lily Koder. It was love at first sight for Jacob, who saw the potential of the 200 year old ruin. Not long after, the couple put their life's savings into restoring the hotel · Kochi, Kerala
