Giridarshhini was first established as a restaurant in B.R. Hills around 1950, with keeping the tourist in mind , the one and only hotel served nearly 60 yrs , this was yet serving many pilgrimages and tourist who visit famous Ranganatha Swamy Temple, built during Hoysala period. This also one and only point for coffee/ snacks and news paper hangout for the local people of the town.
